9 months

Yet again I am a month behind!! These picts are from Jackson's 9 month bday he was a little sick that day but that didn't stop him from being the busy little man that he is!! At his 9 month well baby check Jackson weighed in at almost 22lbs and measured 29.75in, so his growth is slowing down a little but he is still a big boy for his age! He now has four teeth, two on top and two on the bottom and recently discovered the stairs... and it didn't take him long to become a stair master. Now he just has to learn how to get down the steps!!

He is learning how to play ball. he rolls it toward you but then he has to follow it and pick it back up. We still have a little work to do!!

I have been having fun playing with mom and dads new camera it is soo much faster then ours and much better quality. Some day I will have to get myself one. Today Jabbers would squint his eyes shut every time the light would turn on before taking the picture... some of the faces he has been making are helarious!!!

This one makes me laugh. It looks like he just tasted some thing bad but no its just one of the new faces he makes when he is going after something!

See my TEEF?!?!?! Finally I got one where he is not covering up his teeth or sticking out his toung.

A little catching up!

So now that i have my camera time to catch up on the last two months.

Jackson started crawling at 6.5 months and then pulling up at 7 months. The last time I weighed him (more than a month ago) he was 21.5 lbs and I didn't even try to measure him as it was hard enough to get him to sit still on the scale long enough to get a weight!! He now likes to feed himself and really enjoys his bath! He now has two teeth. He laughs when ever Bailey barks and every once in a while says "mama" but most of the time its just mamammamamammamamma. He really is starting to get a mind of his own and is constantly on the go! In the past couple weeks he has gotten to where he likes to snuggle before his morning nap and unfortunately in the middle of the night he wakes up and wont go back to sleep until he gets picked up and snuggled with for a little bit and then goes back down with out a fuss. We love our little monkey!!!

7 months old

SOOO Far Behind

I have about two months of picts and videos to upload.... but I went to sit down to put them on the computer and.......... I CANT find my camera. I used it just a couple days ago but now that I want it, it is missing. arrr. So and update will have to wait.... for now here is a more recent pict. of my little trouble maker

6 months!

Six Months?!?!?! I am kidding right??? NOPE. We are offically and completely done with the helpless infant stage... I cant believe it.

Jackson is still a great baby, apart from the days when he doesn't get a nap and is a cranky little monster. Although he is getting to the point where he can let you know when he is not getting what he wants. At his 6 month Well Baby Check he was 28.5 inches long and 19.5 lbs... His height is off the charts for his age and weight has leveled off between the 50th and 75th percentile. Long and plump :P

Milestones: He started sitting up completely on his own at about 5 1/2 months and is trying so hard to crawl.. he scoots himself backwards an gets up on his hands and toes and some how makes it to where he wants to go... Just in the last few days I have noticed the word NO coming out of my mouth alot more... guess the cinnamon pine cones are gonna have to go in the garbage. His favorite noises to make are a high pitched screech (not mommys favorite) and blowing raspberries. :P He also started saying something between a "La La" and "Ba Ba" cant really say which.

Bailey and Her Ball

This is our dog Bailey, she is a Yorkie-poodle-chihuahua mix full of kisses that you dont want and our furry little terror beast.

So our little Bailey girl LOVES her ball....really she loves any ball that is avaliable for her to chew on, lick, chase and and hog. Once she has got it she will not let it go unless it is on her own terms and only if you are not watching... otherwise keep-away is her favorite game. We discovered her fear of air vents quite by accident one night out at my parents several months ago. A while back mom gave her one of her old dryer balls and ever since then every time we go over there she will sit at the laundry room door and whine till someone take pitty on her and gets it for her. One night in partictulat she was sitting in the middle of the foor whining and looking at the ball that happened to be sitting on an air vent... it took awhile for us to figure out just what was happening and once we did we have to do it every so often just to get a good laugh!!

Jackson's Fourth month

Seeing as Jax will be Five months old next week i should prolly post about his fourth month:) At his four month well baby check Jackson was 17.7lbs and almost 26 inches long. He has started solid foods and seems to like the sweetpotatoes and carrots but gags on the greenbeans and peas. Today we tried Pears in his cereal and he acted like they were sour but ate what was in the bowl. He can roll from his back to his belly and when you put him on the floor he wastes no time rolling over but seems to have forgotten how to roll back. He giggles alot now but it takes some time to find some thing to make him laugh. He is a happy boy for the most part but lets you know when he is not happy about something. Great Grandpa and Grandma Schrock came up for a week over the holiday weekend we got to spend alot of time with them and are sooo glad they could come!!!

We drove to the beach for the day a couple weeks ago for the first time with Jackson and he also had his first trip to the ZOO but mommy's pictures all turn out funny.... she needs to learn how to take good pictures
