Two months

Our sweet little lady is two months old already!!! Her two month check up fell at exactly 9 weeks.
SO at nine weeks she is exactly 11lbs and 22.5 inches long!!! Her eyes are most defiantly blue and her hair  gets lighter every week and when the sun hits it is a very pretty strawberry blond heavy on the strawberry!!
She started "talking" and giving smiles at about 5-6 weeks old and smiles and "talks" more and more each day! She rolled from belly to back once but she was on a soft surface and I was sitting next to her so she was on a bit on an incline... needless to say it has not happened again so I cant officially say she is rolling but with in the last couple days she has started to roll a bit to the side when on her back:) She doesnt get much floor time since big brother is a bulldozer/ race car and I am afraid of him falling on her or tripping and hurting her.  She is a very mellow and sweet baby and a bit of a momma's girl!  I am SO lucky!! She eats almost every two hours during the day and sleeps from around 10:30pm to between 5 and 6:30 am pretty regularly and two or three times she has slept right through till just after 8am!!!
Looking so pretty at 8 weeks 2 days
She loves to stick out her tongue!! Who knew a tongue could be so cute!!!
LOVING our new bumbo!!!

November 30th 40 Weeks 2 days 6:18 am "labor day"
Thursday night was a restless one for Momma. I just could not find a comfortable spot to sleep... bed or couch. Woke again around 3 am to several contractions in a row. Since Daddy was supposed to be to work at 6 am I thought I better start timing them and found them to be 5-6 min apart while resting but as soon as I would get up and move around they jumped to 2-3 min apart. I crawled back in to bed to try and sleep while waiting for Daddys alarm to go off. When Larry woke I showed him the time line and he quickly decided he was not going in to work that day and woke up his "on call" person. About  5:30 I decided to call the midwife and when she called back about 20 min later I was feeling kinda silly because I felt like I should know when to leave for the hospital but since contractions started out so close together I was a little concerned and she thought it would be best for us to meet her at the hospital in an hour (that would be about 7 am at this point). SO I called mom and had her come get Jackson so that he didnt have to get up and be grumpy and we packed up and headed to meet our girl!!! Labor slowed down quite a bit upon arrival to the birth center but that was to be expected with a change in location but after a little more than an hour on the monitor I was able to get up and start moving around again and after a little bit of walking contractions pick up the pace again and the fun began!!! Long story short Ella was born a VERY short time after I let the midwife break my water and we finally got to see our TINY BEAUTIFUL baby girl!!!
Mommy and Daddy are SO in love!!!! Big brother....not so much:) He is starting to warm up to her and give her kisses on the head once in a while but still will not hold her.

So much is left out of this story but let me just say that using a midwife was such an amazing experience from start to finish. I love to tell the story but only to those who want ALL the details!!!

Monday after listening to baby sisters heartbeat we decided to have one final Zoo trip before she arrives. It was COLD but well worth the trip.
